Al Wadood Relief Corporation
Al-Wadood Relief Corporation was founded in 2017 upon the Islamic principle illustrated in the Holy Quran:
"They feed with food--despite their own desire for it-- the indigent, and the orphan and the captive (saying): ‘We feed you purely for the sake of Allah Almighty. We desire no reward from you, nor thankfulness." – (Surah al-Insan 8-9)
The Prophet Mohammad PBUH said:
“When a person dies his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him.” (Muslim, Al-Tirmidhi)
Al-Wadood relief Corporation’s purpose is to:
1- Open and operate a Hospital to serve the underserved community of peripheral Lahore, Pakistan with an aim to provide basic and advanced medical care according to western standards.
2- There is a huge void for quality, affordable healthcare in peripheral Lahore. Most of the currently operating hospitals are private / for profit and expensive, making affordable healthcare out of reach for these poor communities.
3- As much as possible, within the available resources of Corporation, the hospital shall provide health care to those without an ability to pay.
4- The emergency room of the clinic shall be open to everyone.
5- The Hospital shall utilize and open medical staff with privileges available to all qualified Physicians.
Al-Wadood Relief Corporation will establish shelter home for widows, orphans and elderly persons to provide free food and other amenities of life.
Al- Wadood Relief Corporation will establish centers for providing free food/ Langer Khana to poor and deserving persons.
To undertake rehabilitation of health and education and to serve the mankind irrespective of caste, creed, race or religion.
